Why "12 Stones"?
My choice of "12 Stones" in my business name and theme evolved via a confluence of experiences and beliefs. I've detailed some of those below...
The Big Stones... An early source of inspiration came from The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, by Steven Covey. Central to the concept is the identification and prioritization of the "big stones" (or in this case "rocks") in your life - the things that are core to your purpose. In the digital age, we're bombarded by demands on our time, energy, and resources - in the analogous form of big stones, smaller stones, pebbles and sand. If we prioritize the most important things - the big stones - we live our lives according to our purpose, and the smaller debris naturally fills the remaining gaps.
Money isn't our purpose... If you had to identify and label the 12 stones that represent the most important things in your life - what would they be? For me, Money isn't on my list. But Money does enable my ability to pursue and attain nearly all of my 12 stones. I want to help others understand that money should serve our purpose, not be our purpose. First, we need to define and acknowledge the 12 stones that are unique to our life mission. Then, we prioritize them. And only then, we can use Money to influence them.

Take action toward your goals... Joshua 3:3-16 tells the story of how a monument of 12 stones was created in remembrance of the miracle of God stopping the waters of the Jordan River to allow the Israelites to cross if they'd only set foot in the water and believe. But the diversion occurred many miles upstream of their location. So, they faithfully waited 2 days for the water to subside, then successfully crossed. When you take action toward your goals, even when it seems like achieving them is a long way off, your breakthrough could already be set in motion. Change is happening in us even when we don't see it.
